What is Health Coaching and how will it help me?

Do you miss the days when you had the energy to “do it all?” As you enter middle-age, do you want to feel less stressed, sleep better, lose weight and perform at your best? I understand and have been there in my own life. As a mom, business owner, and endurance athlete, I was putting out too much energy without taking time to balance and recover, which led to hormone and gut imbalances. Through a blend of Functional Medicine and coaching, I was able to achieve balance and regain my energy.

As a Functional Medicine Health and Wellness coach, I support midlife individuals with gut, weight and stress-related challenges balance their lives by utilizing their strengths to inspire lasting change. During midlife, it is all too common for people to prioritize everyone but themselves. People focus on work and children but put their own needs off because there’s just not enough time or resources. A coach is the missing ingredient for most people who set out to make behavior change and fall short.

What is Functional Medicine?

Functional Medicine is an integrative approach to addressing the root cause of a health condition. In broad terms, Functional Medicine seeks to find the source of the problem rather than address its symptoms. As a coach, I do not diagnose or perform medical tests; instead, I collaborate with your health professionals to help you make sustainable changes around your priorities. For example, I may help a family improve their collective diet, work with a busy mom to create a more sustainable work/life balance with time for self-care, or team up with a burnt out individual to improve their sleep routine. It’s much easier to make lasting change when you have support and accountability and know how to tap into your natural strengths.

Why Inspired Health and Wellness?

When we are inspired, change is much easier to achieve. When we tap into our deepest motivations and goals we are able to accomplish things we may have never though possible. I was inspired by uncovering the root causes of my energy drain, which were hormone and gut imbalance. After undergoing my own wellness journey, I am now inspired to help you uncover your strengths and inspiration, so you can resolve your gut and weight challenges and find the energy to live life optimally!
